Catherine with palliative care and Amanda with hospice care were exceptional. Amanda, went above and beyond to care for us in an unusual circumstance. We don’t know what we would have done without her. The care, compassion and service response were excellent. We were so thankful for the overall care we received with the entire team at Tru. I highly recommend them.

A nurse will come and try to sell you their services. Don’t buy into it, you will not receive them. All you will get is a nurse that comes out 2 times a week to see how your loved one is doing. Spiritual support? Nonexistent. Emotional support? Nope, none. A social worker contacted me when my mom was transitioning on their hospice floor and I thought this is nice, I’ll finally get some support. She just wanted to make sure I signed a contract saying that I will pay $350 a day if my mom lived on the floor long enough. My two young daughters that they promised would have grief support. No one ever called or asked about them. Medication?? Well your loved one will get the painkillers etc, but well past the 4 hour window that they promise leaving your loved one to suffer longer. You will not get any explanation on how to apply or give these medications which is dangerous. If you call to speak with someone, they will take a message and you will not get a call back. There is no “team” that works with you, there is only a nurse who calls a doctor to prescribe the medications. Absolutely nothing more.

This company is horrible from day one my Father was in there care for a little over a month. The medicine was always late. Are 3 social workers were no help I say 3 because my dad was at there facility where they were not giving him his medicine regularly and they would not keep him there. They sent him home to die. The doctor said he had months to live he died one day after they bought him home. The night they brought him home he needed catheter and I called all day to get someone out. I got after hour nurse finally after him hurting all day. Then I get this 2000.00 dollar bill after by said is sent home to die and wasn't even kept there in comfort. I thought hospice was suppose to help. If you are looking for good company dont use them please. I hate for anyone to have this horrible experience.

The nurse Lauren is absolutely AMAZING. But every time we call and get “MARISSA” on the line she makes it seem like we are an inconvenience calling. I had problems with my mom’s port and she told me there’s nothing they can do. Then I told her one of the nurses said they can take out the access, and she replies with “it has an access?” Like yes why wouldn’t you ask that before you say there’s nothing you guys can do. When my sisters have called and gotten her it’s been the same thing. She’s always trying to make excuses like “the nurses are out on other calls and I’m not sure how long it will be and if they will even be able to do anything.” We shouldn’t have to feel like it’s a bother to give you all a call when we have a concern especially with the amount of stress that accompanies theses situations. She shouldn’t be dealing with your clients. The only thing keeping us with this company is the nurses like Lauren and Kenya. I’ve also read some review on this company saying they’re going to do something and then not. We have had a couple issues with this and all I have to say is if they promise you something GET IT IN WRITING. DOUBLE CHECK ALL COVERED AND NON COVERED MEDICATIONS AND TAKE A PICTURE OF THAT DOCUMENT. There was items added to the non covered medications AFTER the intake process and AFTER we had already signed it. Just cover your own butt 100%. Overall happy with the nurses and most of the staff. Would recommend this place but would give some precautionary advice first.

Our 14 year old son passed away on Saturday. We are so thankful to have had TRU’s guidance at the end of his life. They worked with us so he would have a peaceful passing. We will be forever grateful to them 💜
