Truly appalling service. It's been over 2 weeks since I had the original call with a representative to set up nursing and PT for my mom. Promises that nurses would call and evaluate never happened. Finally after 2 weeks a nurse evaluator went to my moms home and submitted (supposedly) 3 day/wk nursing and a PT evaluation. 4 days later, still no response from Amedisys for any care. I will reach out to the hospital that recommended this company as well as the insurance agency who covers them to report the horrible service. I would never recommend Amedisys to anyone.
