Vicky the Aid from Masonicare is an absolute angel. She was kind, caring, and amazing to my grandfather the last time he needed help and we were lucky enough to get her again for him when he needed the help again. Thank you Vicky.

I had nothing but GOOD experiences there. My dad was there for 3 years following a stroke, which was followed by more complications related to 3 strokes and aging. Their rehab was great and their patient care was better than other facilities I have been to. I think all of these places are somewhat short handed. What set Masonicare apart is that everyone that worked there (except the front desk which hands out guest passes - they frequently acted bothered) seemed to be genuinely happy 😊 to be there and to be helping the residents. When we got to the Hospice stage, although he still received the same base level of care, he also received other caretakers which were great with both my dad and myself. He had a PT/massage therapist, social worker, multi-denominational spiritual advisor, and an RN all of whom were in constant touch with me. I give them 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I’m pleased to write a wonderful review highlighting the excellent services my husband has been continuously received from Masonicare Home Health services! After suffering a devastating stroke in 2017 which has left him both physically and cognitively handicapped. Masonicare has been coming to our home since the beginning. Our wonderful and caring aid, Maria is nothing short of an angel! Her skills are of course impeccable but her shining personality and gentleness is what makes my husband feel important again. Maria is able to bring a smile to his face every time she comes to our home. His PT therapist, Laurie is another miracle worker! My husband has made more improvements under her care then we ever thought possible! Her continued dedication to his recovery is admirable! This past week due to an unexpected situation we welcomed a substitute PT therapist (Robyn) and once again my husband received excellent care! Finally, the contact staff and scheduling department are always polite and helpful even though sometimes I’m a little frazzled on the phone. In particular, thank you Gwen for all you do! I highly recommend Masonicare Home Health!

Our doctor’s nurse chose Masonic Hospice care. Because of the Masonic Care name I thought my mother would be getting the best care. I agree with most of the negative comments made on this page. My mother went from semi okay to deceased in 3 days and it happened on a 3 day holiday weekend so I was constantly searching for help. If I had it to do over I would not use this particular hospice. But when your most special loved one is dying you just need help. You don’t even have time to research reviews and make a good choice for which Hospice you will use. We just have faith that they will be good and solid and do what needs to be done. But that’s not the case here.

Mother choose Masonicare based on hearing the name. Mom was hospitalized with end of life breast, brain and lung cancer. Yes it was hard for her to understand this was happening because 3 months prior she was fighting the disease. Once in care of Masonicare, our hell as a family began. Instead of us enjoying moms last days on this earth we were terrorized daily by trying to move her out of the hospital and into a nursing home. The social worker called to see how the process was going. I will tell you how the process is going my mother is in her last days and I want to spend time with her. They tried to get her to swallow pills after she was on “buttons” and she ended up almost choking to death on those pills. The social worker would wait for my brother and I to show up at the hospital and then question us about how we were looking for another place. There was no compassion given to us as a family. The hospital mom was admitted to (not affiliated with Masonicare) were the ones that made sure mom was comfortable, that the family was doing ok, and they were supportive. Not Masonicare. We had to battle every step of the way to get mom comfort. Her last week on earth they were still insisting on moving her, then they finally realized this was her last days, and they made her comfortable. After mom passed I was not contacted by hospice to see how I was doing. Thankfully my degree is in psychology so I have a network of support. I would not recommended Masonicare hospice to anyone.
