We have had Aveanna for several years now while my little guy recover from cancer. Seth has received exceptional care and our nurses have become part of our family.

Tuesday As soon as mother was released from rehabilitation they jumped and called and told me nurse would call the following day. Ten minutes later another representative called to confirm and follow up insisting the nurse would call Tuesday. Well, ALL DAY Wednesday, there was NO PHONE CALL. Thursday morning, today the nurse called because she wanted to drop in. Horrible COMMUNICATION !!! Saw the HORRIBLE reviews and ratings. Glad you didn't provide services .

At first during the initial evaluation everything was painted with a beautiful brush, that was at first. I had the liberty of having a tagteam duo coming out to take care of me, mother and son. Well the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I had issues with them both. My major concern was the way they handled-cared for my catheter. Very dangerous in the way they handled it. Also had another major issue with the way my bed was getting padded. I ran through a box of pads in less than a week all while still not padding the bed out and putting me at a potential for having urine and BM on my fresh clothes! I even had arranged for another one of my workers who knew my routine 100% to come show her an easier way. Every time I mentioned it it was an excuse. That seems kind of counterproductive especially if you’re having problems that can easily be solved. I even mentioned it to the company several times so they could schedule my case differently so she can get orientated by someone who knew my routine better. You would think that someone would honor that if you really have intentions of taking care of a patient and making sure your patient maintains their status in life. It was free knowledge and both the company and the individual aid named Sheba always had a reason and always concluded it with no. So time keeps moving forward and I keep having the same headache so now you have an irritated patient and what do they do, they took both of them off of my case and never found a replacement. So if you are thinking about signing with this company make sure during the orientation process you make sure that they have more than the one worker assigned because if it doesn’t work out they have no problem with leaving you stuck without care. Sad part about my interaction with Aveanna health had they let that other worker show them an easier way I would still have help at this moment but I’m still left without care and working on getting another company. More needs to be done in the healthcare field because they can snatch workers away from you for any little thing and ultimately put you at an even greater risk of danger and hospitalization. I am in a similar situation now. Even after eloquently explaining this in my concerns to the company they still never found another person for over a week straight. No help! It’s sad how us patients get left a lot of the times it’s inhumane! I don’t know how people can sleep at night. Sorry for the lengthy review but if you’re thinking about signing with this company I would say this message would be worth the read. So sorry things could not work out with this company but now I’m at a greater risk for even more injury/breakdown because it’s not easy to find another company like that!

Awful service for Adult Care, did the professional dance during intake but left Mother with no care and no back ups. Sad company that cannot provide services they claimed to handle. Would give no star if it was an option.
