This home health agency has been extremely unreliable. Nurses/physical therapist frequently do not show up when they say they will communication with the branch is very poor. Staff are often passive aggressive. This level of care is unsafe and unacceptable for vulnerable patients. I regret ever allowing this agency into my father's home.

It’s disappointing that reviews keep disappearing because families deserve the truth. The Independent Living side at Discovery Village convinced my mother to use Discovery At Home, saying they offered private duty and extra help. When we called, we were told those services cost extra, and the woman named Christine was rude and abrasive, basically saying “take it or leave it.” They use the blood pressure clinic to sign up vulnerable residents, then fail to deliver the services they promise. My mother was signed up for physical and occupational therapy, but no one ever came. Instead, they sent a nurse to do an admission she didn’t even need. The nurse was kind and knowledgeable, but the order was for therapy, not nursing. Physical therapy later decided OT wasn’t necessary and canceled it without ever seeing her. When I raised concerns, the Executive Director said the building wasn’t affiliated with Discovery At Home and that it was “patient choice,” which is ridiculous since we already had a home health agency before they convinced my mother to switch. This is misleading, manipulative, and unacceptable. Corporate needs to address this immediately. Families deserve honesty and accountability.
