The service provided by Health at Home truly goes above and beyond for its clients. I had a client in need of services provided by Health at Home and I must say, they exceeded my expectations in many ways and stand out in the best way compared to others. The customer service is top notch and the quality of care provided by the nurses and aids is very compassionate. I would like to specifically recognize the service provided by the nurse and aid assigned to my client, Sue Gordon And Marceleine. Sue not only provided my client with top notch care but she also made it a point to provide me with updates and frequent communication to ensure my client was healthy and safe. Marceleine also demonstrated compassion, patience, and maintained good communication. Beyond this, if I ever had any questions, every staff member I interacted with over the phone was more than helpful and understanding. This was my first experience with the services of "Health at Home" and we were somewhat apprehensive. I was most impressed with the immediate availability of the Concierge Coordinator Jana D., who came to our home the same day we had placed the call with a bundle of uplifting energy and suggestions. Her sole purpose was to listen and identify our physical needs and find the best match for our personalities. Her skill to match the best caretaker and her kind and caring demeanor were very reassuring and we proceeded to plan our care with the help of her experience, her great flexibility and compassion. From our initial conversation with Gerri Bannister, my sister and I knew we were in capable hands. Our mom moved home from rehab after a broken hip and she needed care. Gerri listened with respect, compassion, and professionalism and then outlined an individualized care plan to support her toward independence. Under Gerri’s continual watchful guidance, our mom is moving in the right direction–we call Gerri the third sister! The strength of the care plan includes regular monitoring by medical professionals skilled in technical work, medication management, and quick responsiveness. Lana and Sue, are the definition of ‘care’, offering the highest level of competence, a continuous stream of communication, and the level of attention you expect only from family. The home health aids who assist our mom are responsible and kind allowing two daughters to breathe a little easier. We know our mom is cared for with gentle patience and assistance affording her the dignity she deserves. With every step of this process, my sister and I feel supported. The industry of home health care is complex with multiple operational facets coupled with the need for flexibility and responsiveness. While everyone hopes they won’t need home care, it’s nice to know that Health at Home is there. We are forever grateful to have found them. .
