My grandfather was getting too disabled to take care of himself, but was too stubborn to be open to the idea of getting help from an in-home caregiver. I finally got him to agree to give it a try, so I found Preferred Touch. The minute the friendly, caring nurse came through the door my worries of him sending her away went out the window. He was very receptive to her, as she made him feel immediately comfortable with her glowing personality and attention to detail. Have always thought that home care services is not the best option for my grandma. But she lives in Sarasota while the whole family lives in New York and there is no other way than to hire a visiting nurse for her. So I googled and found Preferred Touch Home Care website that offers a wide range of home healthcare services in Florida and what is really great - in Bradenton and Sarasota so it was a perfect option for our grandma. When we decided our Dad needed special care after his surgery I spent hours online trying to find someone to look after him. letting go of control was really hard for me, and that’s something that Preferred Touch Care guys explained to me as a natural way of a child to react to their parents getting older and needing more help than ever. I can say that I am completely happy with the services I got and I can truly say that they have surprised me time and time again with their professionalism and lots of advice they gave me. Besides the care that Dad got I can say that I also received a lot of tips to help him cope mentally so that he didn’t feel left out or different after he lost the ability to do daily chores without outside help.
