If you are looking for a clean, efficient and caring staff, Naturecoadt Primary has filled the void that I’ve had since my Pcp of 13 1/2 years retired in 2018. I’ve had quite a few at least three or four primaries. I’ve tried in between. quality & caring. The receptionist as well, which is a biggie. I have actually left doctor offices because of the staff not the doctor.

My provider was a PA who would say my abnormal labs were fine. My health problem actually required more attention, which I felt like I had to request. An obviously incorrect lab was ordered (not at all related to my issue and wildly off-base) so I called the office to correct it. The PA stood by their decision. My partner’s provider is a Physician and so far he seems to receive good care, but the office staff is stating “all they can do is send a message” regarding a refill he is almost out of. He urgently needs it refilled now after over a week of them sending a message. No explanations, no updates, no follow up - to me this is a failure in patient care. We are very disappointed - this practice makes you advocate so hard for yourself, even when you are sick, and go without your medications. They’ll send a message for you, though, that’s all they can do.

When I moved to the area I was drawn to Nature Coast Health Care because it was convenient and the facility is nice. I’ve now been a patient for over 3 years, setting aside location and facility, I continue to be a patient because of the outstanding care I receive from Antoinette Frussinetty. She’s everything I’ve looked for in a primary care physician. Antoinette is professional, compassionate and she truly hears me when discussing my overall health. I feel confident that she is making my appointment time and my health her priority in the moment. Antionette is a rare find in this area and I truly appreciate her!!!

I love Naure Coast in Crystal River. They are efficient, friendly, and have alot of conveniences right there, Cardiac Stress Testing, Dexascan, X-Ray capabilities, lab draws etc. The facility is clean and modern. The admissions desk ladies are always friendly with a smile. I am a retired R.N., and happy with my care there. It is also in a convenient location with ample parking.

Short story: I was a patient at Nature Coast Health Care in Crystal River for about six months. I called in to get one of my prescriptions renewed. Option 6 on the phone menu: Prescriptions. No one answers the phone, and the only option offered is to leave a message, with a recorded promise to have my call returned within 24 hours. I left detailed messages 8 times in the following 10 days, with never a return call nor any action or results at my pharmacy. I only obtained results by going down to the office where the girl at the front desk said she would send a note to my doctor's assistant with my prescription details. Two days later, a new prescription arrived at my pharmacy. This happened 2 more times over a six week period. At my next doctor's visit, I explained these experiences and requested to meet with the office manager. I was met with attitude and rudeness. The office manager, Brandy, acted as though it was not her problem or the fault of the office at all, but pointed to the "Provider", the doctor, as the cause for no response. She claimed it was not the responsibility of "her girls" to follow up on such things. I sent letters and emails to their main office and the CEO Dr. Ken Savage and had no response whatsoever. I have since left Nature Coast Health Care for a more efficient, reasonable, and more attentive Primary Care situation. Good riddance Nature Coast. If you are thinking of going there, I recommend you change your mind and keep looking.
