I have had an excellent experience with UCI. My note, Marianne is absolutely the best nurse I have ever had. She is always on time. Calls to met me know she is on her way so I can shower before my wound change. She is professional, kind and compassionate. Coming from a horrible service, I cannot say enough good things about UCI. So glad Florida Blue found them for me. They are wonderful.

I absolutely love UCI Home Health! Marianne was the best RN I have had! She was a lifesaver! After surgery I had another home health company come out and the nurse was terrible. After switching to UCI Home Health I had an exceptional Nurse who was very helpful and caring. She helped me obtain the correct supplies I needed by working with a home health supply company and orchestrated the delivery of the supplies and getting it approved through the insurance company. I was with UCI for several months and highly recommend them!

Karen is a home health aide who is professional, kind, gentle, and caring. My wife used her after shoulder replacement surgery and we were more than satisfied. She is an outstanding asset to you organization.

I can't say enough good things about the home health nurse that came to my house. She was truly a wonderful human being and lovely individual. I appreciate everything that she did for me. Their office staff was also very responsive and communicative by following up with my doctor's office to see what would be a suitable alternative when the dressing that was ordered ended up being noncovered by my insurance. I thank UCI for taking such good care of me. I recommend them to anyone who needs home health.

Because of a bad fall from a ladder that required three surgeries and then a fused ankle, which left me in a wheelchair for some six months, I needed throughout that period a nurse and a therapist to help me recover. Although this was my own first experience requiring home health care, my husband had previously used UCI for close to a year. Having witnessed his care, it was a no brainer for me to choose UCI when I needed care at home. In both of our situations, we were very blessed in choosing UCI because of the consistently excellent care. In my case, I was assigned wound care nurse Vanessa Dulfo, and therapist Chyrel Gallego. With very rare exception, there were no substitutes, although even those home health care workers were inevitably skilled, personable, and clearly very caring. Obviously, no one wants ever to be in a situation that calls for home health care. But it happens, and for me, after a while I actually looked forward to the visits from Chyrel and Vanessa; to some extent, I suppose I regarded them as family given that they were here at least twice a week for all that recovery time. They worked so hard for me that I literally did my best to work hard for them as a patient. That became all the more true as they grew to know me, my reactions, my doubts and fears . . . and, well, you know what I'm talking about. Only people who tend to you routinely can truly get to know you and give their best, and it wasn't faked. The distinction? I wasn't "just a patient" for them. I've now advanced to outpatient therapy and with luck, will be on my feet without assistance before the end of the year. Long story short: I highly recommend the fine medical professionals UCI makes available.
