I am a disabled Veteran, and have other appointments already scheduled. And this is why I have to have a company who will schedule my appointments with them, around my own schedule. The VA Community Care Office told them I can only do either Tuesday, or Thursday. And I needed them to not contact me the day before they would come out, since I already have my other appointments months in advance. I was contacted by Michelle on last Wednesday, to setup an appointment for the person to come out and do the assessment. I begin telling her I have other appointments and don’t want them to contact me at the last minute for an appointment. She said the VA had already told them. Then she scheduled me to come out Saturday. But she couldn’t tell me what time the person was coming SMH!!!!!! On Thursday, I called the office to inquire about the schedule for Saturday. And again to see if they were able to help me on my time, and not their time. The person who answered really couldn’t help me. But she told me Michelle had already made me an appointment for Monday, the 13th. And Michelle didn’t tell me she was doing that. Again, Michelle knew I could not have therapy on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Nor could I be scheduled for last minute appointments. But she did it anyway. Since the lady could not answer my questions, she had the clinical manager call me. The clinic manager, Brianna called me, and I told her I had no questions for her, and just wanted to cancel their services and hung up. I then called VA Community Care and told them too that I didn’t want to use Pinnacle’s services. Later on that same day on Thursday, Wayne called about setting up an appointment. I didn’t answer. On Friday, Tapas called to tell me he was coming to my house between 3p and 5p on Saturday!!!! WHAT???? Why are these people keep calling me, after I have told them I canceled their services? They are greedy for money!!!! They want us Vetetans to conform to their schedule. They don’t care about us they just want money so they are preying on us!!!! Pinnacle think they are going to use the disabled Veterans, at the VA to get easy money for lying that they will help us. And that’s not all a Pinnacle employee did to me. That same Tapas, the one who I told I had canceled their services, and not to come to my house on Saturday, on that Friday, had the audacity to call me at 11:45pm that same Friday night!!!!! WHY???? Why would he call me at 11:45pm???? And after I had told his manager Brianna, and told him, I cancelled their services!!!! I have reported this business to the Patient Advocate at the Gainesville VA. And I reported them to Supervisor over Community Care, my VA Primary Care Doctor, my VA Social Worker, and will be reporting them to Office of Inspector General so they can investigate them!!!! This is a horrible company!!!!

Pinnacle has been great, my elderly Mom just got out of the hospital, and they have been so responsive and very helpful to navigate things. They have made a very difficult time for my Mom comfortable and less stressful. Kudos to Steven and his team of awesome caregivers!

My sister 93 years old had a day surgery and discharged with a nursing care and home care since she can not clean and change dressings herself and very weak to take a bath. Advent hospital and the Dr arranged the service with Pinnacle Home care. Took 2 days for a nurse to come and evaluate and the next day a nurse came and examined the surgical wound and cleaned and dressed the wound. Next day was Sunday and she said she is going to church and can not come. No body came Monday or tuesday. When called the nurse she says she is on vacation. Her Supervisor said there is no staff. The Dr said the wound wcan get easily infected because where it is. So we asked Erik to terminate service so we can go to another Agency with more staff. He said he can not do that and he will send some one when available after 3 days. When the Agency can not provide service they should not take the assignment or at least terminate so we can go to another. This kind of business who doesn’t care about the health of a patient should not be in healthcare business. Not able to service but don’t want to give up business is deplorable.

I had been a home health patient for a couple years and everything was fine until now. I was going to change insurance at the start of the year (2022) but I made sure to tell Pinnacle about it in December 2021. They said no problem they could take my new insurance too. January rolls around, my new insurance becomes effective and I have my nurse visit just like always. I thought everything was still fine. Come time for a visit in February I don't hear from a nurse letting me know she's coming. They usually let me know when they are coming so I call the office and ask about it. The office tells me that since my insurance changed I would need new orders from my doctor. I get the orders sent to two different fax numbers I was given by Pinnacle. I call and the office confirms the orders were received. Days later and I hear from no one at Pinnacle. No nurses visit. A week passes with no word from Pinnacle. Finally I called my insurance company and my doctor to have them find me a new home health agency. It's really too bad it turned out this way because I didn't have problems with the nurses themselves. They were professional and kept me informed about my care and their schedules with me. The office on the other hand completely dropped the ball with communication. If for some reason they didn't want to keep me as a parent they could easily have told me so I would have had an opportunity to find a new agency before the next time came due that I needed nursing care. I was left to scramble because of their lack of communication.
