My daughter had been waiting for a month for Physical therapy thru Home Health. The Physical therapist refused to see my daughter as a patient because she HAD Covid 19 over 10 days prior and currently has no symptoms. I was told when I called the main office that they did not have the proper equipment to take precautions against Covid. I am a health care professional, it’s is unethical to deny care to a patient based on a illness. If she had been asked to be retested or to wait another week we would have certainly accommodated that request. They did not follow CDC guidelines. Please be aware of this agency due to the discrimination against someone who WAS ill with Covid 19 and does not have the proper equipment for precautions. Thank you, Loretta Waller
