I am the caregiver for a family member & was referred to Aveanna by his doctor. Aveanna did not offer a lot of services that were helpful in our situation. However, all the people (nurses, therapists) that worked with us were very good. Special thanks to his nurse, Denise, who provided competent, and kind care.

I do not recommend this company for home health care. They have no urgency in providing services needed. Our loved one went without needed supplies and care while they did multiple "assessments" It took almost two weeks to start much needed Physical therapy. We had to call everyday to try to find the status of when a provider would come and were told they could not give us a schedule. We were told "you're home anyway" and "based on his condition can he even participate in PT" when we called the office because we were supposed to have a provider come and no one showed up. This is not the care or type of attitude you should have to deal with when trying to care for a loved one who is Ill and made the entire experience much more stressful.
