My experience with Nursing Care Service Inc. was traumatic and heartbreaking. Between December 2024 and March 2025, this agency inserted itself into my father’s hospice care in a way that caused extreme distress to both him and our family. The owner, Janet, impersonated a medical professional to convince my disoriented, dying father to agree to be hospitalized — without his hospice team, without our family, without honesty. They attempted (and failed) to take over his care under false pretenses. From there, it became relentless: constant phone calls, emotional manipulation, and desperate attempts to collect his Social Security number. And when I tried to protect him? They reported me to CPS with baseless lies. My father was vulnerable, dying, and deserved peace. Not manipulation for profit. I’ve filed formal complaints with AHCA and the Florida Department of Health. I’m sharing this so that no other family has to endure what we did. Please be cautious when choosing care for your loved ones. Some agencies, like this one, do not operate with integrity. I’m not writing this for revenge. I’m writing it as a warning. If you’re looking for compassionate care for your loved one please, look somewhere else. I wouldn’t wish what we went through on anyone. Some things should be sacred. The end of life is one of them.
