My experience with Concierge Home Care didn’t make it past the initial phone call. My dad’s case manager gave us a list of home care companies to look into before making a decision on Friday. So I called Concierge around 3pm on Saturday in an attempt to get some info. I spoke to the on-call “triage nurse” (whatever that means) who was incredibly rude. He basically told me to do what had already been done, which was to get the list of home care providers from dad’s case manager, and pick one. I explained to him that I had that very list right infront of me, and that’s exactly what I was trying to do. He then cut me off, and told me that we needed a referral from dad’s doctor. Then he ordered me to go back to the hospital to get the referral. I tried to tell him that we weren’t ready for the referral yet since I was only calling to gather information on which home care company would best suit our needs before making that decision. He cut me off again, going off on a tirade about how it’s Saturday, and how he’s only the “triage nurse” with a whole bunch of medical jargon peppered into his rant. Basically giving me a bunch of excuses as to why he couldn’t help me. I was just like, “um… okay, well, I’m not a nurse or a doctor. Plus, I don’t work there. And so I have no idea what any of that means…” He cut me off a third time, and in a condescending tone said, “well, I’m trying to explain it to you.” So that was the end of that. I dropped an F bomb on him, and hung up the phone. Definitely going with a different home care company now. I told the nurse I spoke with at the one we’re going with about this guy at Concierge, and she told me that wasn’t the first time she’s heard about this kind of behavior coming from them. Guys, like seriously, teach your employees some manners. It’s already a tough enough time for those of us calling you on behalf of a family member in need. So please drop the attitude, and have some patience. This call was made around 3pm on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from the Jacksonville, FL area.

The staff that has come by has been compassionate, caring and professional. The company is unreliable. They come for one or two visits and then we never hear from them until we call and tell them no has been by. Nobody seems to know why, then they come for a visit or two and it just keeps cycling. They have been consistently UNRELIABLE! Our family relies on them to help with home care for one thing out of the many things the family has to do.

These caretakers will give you any help you need. One of the caretakers Trycina was better than family in the work she performed and. the compassion she had in performing it. I was able to let her take care of somethings in my apartment and pack a bag before meeting me at the hospital! She was my favorite but the others were good as well. The office workers were not all business but demonstrated compassion as well.

Concierge Care in Jacksonville provided excellent care for my mother (78) as she recovered from knee surgery. They were a tremendous resource for managing her medications, assistance with moving around and taking care of her basic needs. The caregivers were truly supportive and caring and also provided great communications back to me through her recovery. With their help and assistance she is back to herself and on her feet again! I couldn't ask for a better team to team to help us in time of need.

My father (93 years old with dementia) has had an immensely good experience with Concierge Care. Dressing, bathing, accompaniment to meals, recreation, and programs, keeping him physically active, watching TV, etc. are the services that were provided four hours per day, five days per week for an very reasonable fee. You have, no doubt, increased his joy of living - and likely his living period - with your care. The staff were all excellent and we will never be able to thank you enough. Sincerely, His 90 year-old wife and five sons!!
