Our mother was diagnosed with oral cancer and underwent surgery on her tongue in the midst of the Corona pandemic. 8 days after her surgery, she hemorrhaged and was re-hospitalized and was sent home from Jupiter Medical Center with right lower lobe pneumonia. Subsequently, she developed failure to thrive and her weight dropped to 87 lbs. We hired Encompass Home Health Care to assist us with her home based care. Sally Ford was amazing in assuring every base was covered to bring our mother back to an optimal level of health while trying to avoid readmissions. She organized home visits for her chest x-ray, lab draws, IV fluid ordering and delivery service, nursing, speech and physical therapies. She gave me so much peace of mind and was available for all and every issue which arose. Our team, Tonia, our lead RN; Sofia, our speech pathologist; William, our physical therapist and Eileen behind the scenes in the office were fantastic! We could not have been more pleased with or more grateful for each and every one of them! It is clear to us why Encompass Home Health Care are named "HomeCare Elite" and remain in the top 25% of home care agencies; a well deserved award! We are happy to announce that our mother is back to her happy, healthy, beautiful self. If we ever encounter the need for home health care again, we know exactly who we will call.
