Let the Hospital and was told that Centerwell Home Health would come the next for our first at home infusion. 10am next day no call nothing so I call and told we are not on the yet I have paperwork from the hospital showing medication drop off the day of discharge and start of care date with Centerwell Home Health. I called and got ahold of Silvia the After Hours Manager that said we were not even on the schedule for today and that she can send someone tomorrow. I asked why would you send someone tomorrow for a medication that is given daily. Now her response was she would see if the RN on duty today can swing but but if not they can put us on the schedule for tomorrow. This is a huge failure and the I don’t care attitude is why I posted this, will be calling Advent Health to advise them and then my insurance since I’m sure a non carrying company like this has no issue billing my insurance.

My father was told that his insurance would not cover his home Healthcare medical services any longer. He went to the ER the very next day after they "released" him from their care. On discharge orders from the hospital he was referred to home Healthcare. When CenterWell was contacted they declined him for "non-compliance". I called CenterWell to ask why this happened because my father (85y/o) is an excellent patient. We have been told this from multiple professional sources as he has been a "professial" patient since his health crisis this past Spring. CenterWell told me they couldn't get in touch with us (in this day and age?!... text, call, etc) and that my mom was rude to them. My mom wasn't the patient but my father has the "non-compliance" on his medical records. I now wonder if his insurance "ran out" or if releasing him as a patient had anything to do with personalities? Sad and unprofessional.

I have severe COPD and live alone i have been hospitalized several times in the past few years and centerwell has always been my go to home health agency after my discharges, they are the most kind, considerate, professional and most importantly, reliable home health agency. I would not use any other agency and have highly recommended them several times.
