If i could give a negative score I would! My 74 yr mother had triple bypass surgery, with very limited mobility , needed help with everything, especially bathing and physical therapy. The first week, a nurse shows up for evaluation, and said a CNA/HHA would come 3 times a week for an hour. NEVER CAME , no one answered or called to dbl chk on her for 2 weeks! Of course we helped her in the mean time, but needed someone during our work hours. That's what they are there for right?!? The physical therapist Christian , did show and was the ONLY person who seemed to care and was very good with her, but once that hour is over they leave and she's alone. When i called to inquire why no one has called or come to help her, incompetent manager Cisy, Cissy or however you spell her name, had NO clue! "Let me look into it" she said. By the time she called back, my mom had been admitted to the hospital with sepsis and mild heart attack. Fast forward to when she needed home health again. Cisy ensured us she would have someone ready again. The PT therapist , Sarai ,was great and professional. The HHA/Aide, Jackie wjo we felt good about, showed up one day and never called or showed again! Wasn't answering her cell and later claimed her daughter was sick. We understand life happens, but dont leave an eldery woman waiting and wondering! Answer your phone, get a replacement!! Management has no clue how to keep tabs on their staff, and Cisy kept making excuses. They claim that my mother kept cancelling or was not cooperating with the scheduled times. Haha...she was in dire need, why would she cancel??? They were overlapping the sessions, instead of adhering to her needs & preferences.Admist all of her own issues, we were handling nursing home issues for my grandmother. My mom is not senile, she was realistic and they didnt like that. I get a call from the oh so pleasant Cisy to tell me they are ceasing services immediately. That day the PT and "third" HHA were on their way to help my mom, and told her they would come by, but were told by their boss that they wouldnt get paid if they did. So much for HELPING patients. My mom has had to start over with the referral process and still waiting on Home Health Care. Horrible experience here!! What pisses us off more was Cisy's attitude and lack of compassion! Hoping the PT staff finds a better place to work.
