I recently had major achilles tendon surgery. My orthopedic group (Southeast Orthopedics) referred me to this company. I did not choose to use this firm due to very unprofessional communication in scheduling my 1st home visit. The woman who does intake evaluation in the home left me message telling me (not asking about my schedule)..."telling" me she would arrive next day betw 2-4 p.m. Excuse me? Since when does the service provider dictate appt time slot with NO input from patient? Wow...I thought the client mattered, especially since my type of Policy covers 100% and I get to choose the provider...not my referring doctors decision. I immediately went the BEST in Jacksonville. Family Life needs to respect patient rights 💯.

Alma has been a professional and instructive therapist. Seriously, she got me the day after my surgery ( Total Knee Replacement) and continued every other day. I learned all kinds of techniques and ways to treat the recovering knee, all the way down to preventing scar tissue. I believe the company employs gifted therapists. They give wonderful service to their patients. Katherine and Westly are dedicated too.
Buying Space
They didn't follow up on establishing services. If you do get services with them you probably did all the work to make that happen.
Victim of the Lag
They discriminate against people with autism. They don't understand it's a spectrum disorder. They probably are getting their medical training from Robert Kennedy Jr. At first they declined by text saying that the case was "too complex". Once they realized they had made an ADA violation they changed their story to they didn't have any coverage in our area. We are less than ten miles from their office. If you, or your family member have any kind of learning or cognitive disorder they are not recommended. I would have written a wonderful recommendation letter for future clients if they would have only cared.
