After having Apex HHA, for15 months they will not readmit a client after a hospitalization because there is too much skilled nursing for their staff. The client had a great relationship with 2 nurses for 15 months yet they won't readmit her. They also don't have HHA's, yet they advertize that they do. The nurse that came most often was top-notched, the OT and PT were excellent but after being told she doesn't belong at home due to her needs it's very regetable finding that they really aren't qualified for skilled nursing. I would not ever reccommend them and I notified her Primary Doctor, that I never got the common courtesy of a phone call. The hospital notified me, not the agency, that's so unprofessional.

They took very good care of my husband. Professional, efficient and compassionate. Nurse Donna was excellent, Physical therapist Amber was also excellent. And occupational therapist was great. Highly recommend this home health

Donna Center was my stepdad’s home health care and wound care nurse. She was knowledgeable and very wonderful with him. She had helped him get his legs healed and helped him understand how his diet is important to his complete recovery. We were so thankful for her not just her coming and doing her job, but her caring attitude toward him.

Donna Center is an outstanding professional who represents Accent Care extremely well. Her nursing and communication skills are the best. We greatly appreciate all she has done for us and would not hesitate to ask for her assistance in the future should the need arise. Thank you, Nurse Donna. Neil Nugent

Some of the nurses and physical therapists are great, but most are terrible.... rude, unprofessional, and not compassionate. We've been given a day that a nurse is supposed to come out, only to wait all day for a phone call, and nothing. The nurses aren't consistent....new person every time. And, the best today, was the nurse who came out wasn't qualified to hook up the patient's IV. Another nurse came out, had no clue how to get the pump started(finally got it working), and showed ME(a family member) how to set up the IV....I guess I'm more qualified than the nurse who came out earlier. I really feel sad for folks who don't have a family member who can advocate for them with this company. If you have another option for home health, take it.
