My family had hospice for my grandmother and were not impressed. They didn’t answer the phone, wouldn’t return calls, and sometimes didn’t even show up when they were scheduled. Without going into specifics, one nurse caused more pain to my grandmother than was warranted. Regardless of what the family dynamics are, hospice should be there when expected, and do the job they were hired to do.

Holly made the transition from the hospital home very worry free. Covenant made it possible for my Dad to pass at home with his family. Lindsey made sure that we had everything we needed and was more than helpful and caring. Very respectful and professional.

I dealt with HOSPICE about two years ago in another state. HOSPICE was kind, thoughtful and extremely helpful in my hour of need. Covenant Care was terrible, horrible unprofessional in every way! My brother was assigned a nurse named CHRISTINE, who was only interested in herself. My first and only meeting with her, she complained about her work load, and that she had three new patients that she had to meet that day. It was 11:00 in the morning! The two other conversations were spent listening to her woes. HER work load is none of MY business! My twin brother only had a few weeks left to live and nobody even told me! She directly overnighted my dying, addict brother a Comfort Pack on his first days home from the hospital! (containing morphine and opiates) To which, he almost killed himself the first day! She constantly made dates for his evaluations and showed up days later! She not only was unhelpful with family members, she was rude, unprofessional and refused to call back. This was a most horrible experience. I had to give one star or it would not post, otherwise I would NOT. Stay away from CHRISTINE and COVENANT CARE!

Hospice is a scam. Their commercials say they care, what a joke. Trust me people, save your money and pay for either yours or your loved ones end of life care. Don't believe what you see on tv or hear from outside sources. Talk to people that have experienced their services. I just lost my mama, the nurse was supposed to be there for her transport but a no show, in the hospital moving her they banged her around I don't know how many times, then we she actually came into hospice they knew she had less than 24 hours to live and didn't tell us until the next day, and when they did tell us? She died five minutes later. Don't trust these people.
