I use the Amedisys in Orange City, Florida. I am more than happy with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs in home care, especially physical therapy, To start with, when you call them they answer the phones with a live person who can immediately help you and answer all questions including those involving insurance. In addition, they accept most insurance plans. Once we signed up they immediately followed up so care could begin right away. The therapists they provided are more than knowledgeable and did an absolutely fantastic job with my elderly aunt. She actually looked forward to seeing the therapist. They keep their appointments and kept in constant communication with me. Before finding Amedisys I was very frustrated with all of the other home health care agencies I contacted. Use them with confidence and just call them to start your care.

On 10/25/23 I was in the elevator at ORMC leaving after I had a Cardiac procedure and I was not feeling well. Kimberly Schwalbe was also in the elevator and observed my condition. She had no connection with my situation but she stopped what she was doing and sat with me in the lobby caring for me until I felt better. She went above and beyond to help me. More than the nurse that I had raised these issues with. She was a complete stranger and cared more for me. She gave me her card and asked me to let her know when I got home safely. What an amazing human being. I don’t know anything about this firm but if she is part of it I would not hesitate to use their services. Thank you Kimberly ❤️
