My Dear freind Mr Getty was in that place he had an appointed Guardian from Sarasota clerk of courts that gave not a dam about him was only a revenue for her and the facility that would not let Mr Getty have any phone calls and they kept him from any kind of outside contact this place will be reported to JACHO they have allowed Mr Getty to fall once again and he lost his life to the sorry place I am so sorry Mr Getty I tried to get you out of that place 2 falls with in a month apart shows neglect . I would not send anyone to that place only if your trying to loose your loved ones that place needs shut down immediately

Our mom has been at Angels for almost 2 years now and we really love this place for her. The staff are wonderful and a special shout out to Susan the activities director, Nick the chef, Marie at the front desk, and all of the rest of the crew who do a fantastic job everyday. The facility is just a few years old so it’s comfortable and very roomy. My mom’s apartment has everything she needs and is expertly cleaned every week by the housekeeping crew. I have eaten a couple of meals here with my mom and have found the food to be healthy and delicious and all home cooked. They have an àl la carte menu as well for those that wish for a lighter meal. So all in all I would highly recommend Angels to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable and safe environment for their loved ones.

Now that my sister is finally gone from Angels, and I don't have to worry, I can finally enter a review. The reason she was there for so long is a sad story. This place is AWFUL! Having visited my sister over the years (I live in a different state), I can say that I have been disgusted every time I have visited. Most visits, the smell of poop permeated the memory care unit. Other times, either strong disinfectant or other foul smells. My sister needed a daily personal care assistant because the staff left her in poopy diapers and unclean. A scabies outbreak almost killed my sister, as she was given oral ivermectin - not acceptable for older adults - and it shut down important metabolic systems. Getting her external ivermectin required hiring an outside nurse because Angels didn't apply it. My sister ended up in the hospital again with "crusted scabies." The only good to come out of that was that her POA finally agreed to move her. She contracted COVID (again) before the actual move. She had to be cleared of both COVID and scabies for her move! Oh - I almost forgot. Most visits, at least half the staff were sitting in corners staring at their cell phones. There were some very good people working there, that actually spent their time caring for residents, but they tended not to last long. I worry about how many of them took scabies home to their families. Her new memory care home is a significant improvement.

Was very pleased with management and staff at Angels. My mom was well taken care of while at Angels. Suzi, Kathryn, Melissa, and Yuri all bent over backwards to make sure my mom had the appropriate care during her stay there. Management even came in on days off and answered personal cell phones after hours to assist. My mom made lots of friends and it was like another family to us all. The facility was always clean and provided plenty of activities for my mom. We will miss the crew at Angels and wish them nothing but the best of luck in the future.

Our family is very pleased with the care given our mom at Angels Senior Living. She has been a resident since Feb 2020; first in the assisted living section and now over the last 5 months in the memory care section. The staff truly does seem to care about her well being. The nursing, home health, and activities staff are all excellent. They do a good job of keeping the place clean and we are also pleased with the food quality. Director Lee and her staff are very responsive to all our questions and concerns. Our family is very thankful for having our mom at Angels Senior Living.
