Five stars are well-earned by the therapists at Enhabit and by the office staff, all of whom have attended to our needs and concerns with thought, professionalism and speed. The progress my brother has made since his stroke on Jan. 8 is remarkable and at the top of all expectations I have found in articles anywhere. I am his legal designated caregiver and have been recognized by all staff. Additionally, all staff has been open and encouraging to my brother, their patient, in developing his own ability to "take back his life." This has been our experience, plain and simple. We could not have anticipated anything better in terms of care and therapy and the in-patient service was a game-changer in the aftermath of a stroke. Kudos to Lia, Jeff and Katie for all their caring hard work!

As others have indicated here, their PT and OT were fine. Their office is disorganized, and worse. Not only did they delay care for my 94-year old mom, as well as supplies, but they went so far as to accuse me of submitting fraudulent documents, an accusation they passed along to my mom's PCP, causing her to be dropped from a practice she had been attending for over 30 years. They tried to make an excuse for the accusation, one which did not make sense, but never took responsibility for it or its consequences, despite repeated calls to their national office. Oh, and they also falsely accused me to DCF. I would urge anyone to stay as far away from this (dis)organization as possible.

They let my Mom be discharged with a fissure wound opening. She is still undergoing wound care for over 2 months. We have their Home Health service that the OT, Pt, nurses are great. Administration has awful lack of communication and forgets to schedule appointments for services needed. The administrative staff trys to blame the field support staff for issues. Mom has a wound vac they threw the used canister with blood in it in the trash. When confronted with it I was told they where reviewing proper disposal procedures. I called the wound care center they confirmed it should be disposed of as a hazard waste. Just got off phone today with other issues and was informed that maybe they the agency was not the right fit for continuing treatment. Wow, so if you complain as to their poor performance you are politely told this. I will be proceeding to forward this information to the corporate offices.

Encompass health is truly a place that individualizes care based on the patients needs. A very clean facility with a great professional staff. My mother was admitted to this facility with a severe leg wound and limited mobility issues. Her mobility has improved 100 percent during her two week stay. We are thankful to encompass health and especially Scott her physical therapist Kelley her occupational therapist. Thanks.

My mother was admitted to this facility after a stroke and I am just grateful she made it out alive. Upon entering the rehab my mothers teeth were stolen, she developed uncontrolled diarrhea for a entire week, she developed a UTI and waiting a whole week before receiving antibiotics, she had 2 syncope events in addition to getting out of her wheelchair alarm and walked down the hallway ( thank good did not fall and break her hip ). In addition to stealing a stroke victim’s teeth they failed to give my mother a proper diet for swallow choking precautions ,no replacement of food, fluids and nutrients till the last 2 days of her time in the deplorable rehab center. My mother on the last day the of her stay could not speak , stand, hold a spoon to feed herself ,keep her eyes open and lost 7 lbs in the 9 days spent in this facility . Finally I demanded 911 called and she was rushed to a local hospital. The director, CNO, , CEO, quality care etc did nothing to help my mother care , in addition refusing to pay for her $2000 dentures they stole from this stroke patient. I have already reported this facility to proper agencies and still have more to contact . In the meantime do not send family friends or anyone to this facility my mother barley made it out .
