I had a great experience the past 4 weeks. The nurses I had Lisa, Savannah & Julie all top notch. Always on time, professional, friendly and provided excellent care. Emily , a case manager went above and beyond to help me out when Corum dropped the ball and didn’t send along my paperwork to remove my line. She called everyone involved and was able to expedite my release late Friday afternoon and have my line removed before the weekend. I would definitely use Better At Home again although I hope to not need their services! Great team of nurses and management. Thank you!

This company company proved within the first week that they could not be trusted, all this did is stress out and nerve up my mother who was already recovering from an extended stay in a medical rehab facility. Don't use this company, I cannot urge that enough.

If you want to have the best care for parent do not work with Better @ Home The Villages. Poor communication from the bottom on up to the Director. Nurses continuously contacted the 86 year old patient with Stage 4 cancer and hard of hearing instead of contacting the Primary Caregiver for appointments. Showed up twice unannounced to the home when the elderly patient was expected to answer the door ... hard of hearing and often sleeping. Bullied into processing a discharge instead of reaching a resolution to the issues. With this being said, the physical therapist was fantastic, Tim. Personable, engaged and what home health care and working in this field is all about. Was a joy to my Dad and he looked forward to his visits. Hopefully this at home service (note service) will learn to understand the needs of their clients and become understanding, instead of being defensive, to the stressed caregiver caring for their loved one. Stay away.

I was mortified to learn from a third party that this agency had denied services to my mother due to non-compliance. Yet the nurse was actually a significant source of support to our family. Twice before she was being discharged and the nursing home sent the referral their way. Therapists called to set up appts. and my moms discharge was postponed. On the 3rd time, she was denied. Why all of a sudden did non-compliance come into play? Well, the answer is new management. This new management takes out their differences with their own staff on the patient! This business will go under....only a matter of time. Good riddens to B@H!! You'll be losing $$$ big time. Shame on you! Go with another agency. You will be thankful you did.
