I would give zero stars if I could. My elderly mother had surgery. We were assured by their representative that they will confirm the benefits before sending care. I had made it clear they don't have the money to pay for anything NOT covered. Like many previous posts, care from this place was horrible. I made a complaint about it to one of the representatives and she informed me that the nurses were let go due to complaints. After 5 months, I get a bill of 300$! When I questioned the charges, they told me very rudely that I should have known the benefits! (these charges were not part of the deductible). I spoke to a higher up representative, I was assured they will look into it and get back to me if there was an issue. No one got back to me so I assumed everything was taken care of. Now, I get a new email from the same rude lady for 600$, have been trying to reach the lady in upper management and left her a few messages, no response. I might be contacting BBB for the many more elderly customers are getting charged by this association.

Victoria Loredent is the most efficient, caring, knowledgeable nurse. I was fortunate to have her to care for me. She healed my wounds with tenderness & expertise. 🥰

Dear Matrix Home Care Team, My name is Mariia Chernoivanova, and I am writing to formally express my concern regarding the quality of care I received from your home health nurse, Veronika, following my surgery on 08/15/2025. My Start of Care (SOC) began on 09/03/2025. During the month of visits, I experienced several issues that, in my opinion, demonstrate a lack of proper attention and professionalism: • The nurse asked basic and important questions about my condition (such as whether I was able to use the bathroom) only after a month of visits. • She said she could not measure my post-operative incision because her ruler was only 15 cm, while my incision was 20 cm. I had to suggest to her that she measure it by applying the ruler twice. • She did not notice or react to signs of infection. As a result, on Friday I ended up in the emergency room. • She did not have essential post-surgical supplies with her, such as dressings, and took no action to help with wound care or provide alternatives. As a result, I developed a severe allergic reaction to the dressing and adhesive tape that had been left on my incision in the hospital. • Overall, her behavior and attitude did not make me feel safe or properly cared for during my recovery. I understand that nurses follow protocols and may not always be required to provide all materials or perform every type of procedure. However, I believe that a home health nurse should at the very least observe carefully, identify potential risks (such as infection or allergies), and ensure patient safety. Perhaps she was not required by protocol to remove the adhesive tape from my incision. However, when she saw my allergic reaction, she could have advised me to remove it or consult my physician for confirmation. I do not have medical training and could not know whether it was safe to do this on my own. I respectfully request that you review this matter, investigate the quality of care provided, and inform me of the steps that will be taken to prevent such situations in the future. Thank you for your attention to this important concern. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Mariia Chernoivanova

I'm actually surprised to read these prior reviews. I have had nothing but excellent experiences with Matrix Home Health care, the nurses and specificially my care aide, Demetria. I had a 3 level cervical spine fusion at the end of October and they have been such an asset to my healing. A nurse came out a little bit after I was released from the hospital to do an assessment. She got me bathing assitance and I've had the much needed help from Demetria. Excellent communication and also Demetria contacted the nurse to come change my incision dressing when necessary, and Sapphire the nurse came the same day. I've had nothing but positive so far, and they have been a Godsend to me.
