My wife suffered a stroke and was assigned physical therapy at a different care facility. Her doctor wanted her to get occupational and speech therapy. Her current therapy provider only does physical therapy, called Mission because a friend recommended them. My wife was told that since Mission is not providing the physical therapy, they would not be able to provide occupational or speech therapy, Why?

Had overall good results with this agency in the past with respect to my wife's care for therapy. In June of 2024, after a stroke, my wife was again sent to them. Apparently, they had a shortage of therapist's in occupational and speech therapy. Therapist's whom work past time were looking to come see a stroke victim late at night, a week or two later after the referal. This was immediately addressed with them as they were told, if they could not meet the demand for an urgent matter then they should never have accepted the case because my wife is the one who suffers by not having immediate therapy sessions. I literally had to stay on top of them throughout the time they were here. Other than Steve Lagor who always took care of his end related to physical therapy, it was a nightmare getting service and responses from management. Fast forward to 2024 November & December. My wife, having been released from the hospital and in need of pt, ot etc was referred to Mission Home care again. Twice, they refused to provide services discriminating because they cannot accept responsibility for their mishaps, poor communication, and previous lack of not having appropriate personnel during normal business hours. Therefore, I contacted them by phone on 12/18/2024 to let them know that I am fully aware of their shenanigans in refusing the patient because they can't handle crititism in a professional manner to grow their services appropriately. No response is expected from this sorry excuse for a care agency. However, the general public needs to be aware of how this agency operates in order to make a correct informed decision on using this establishment for the sake of the needy person's sound being and recovery.

Mission Home Care is great. They have excellent physical therapists and occupational therapists. I used them after amd injury and 3 surgeries with a month long hospital stay. Now my brother is in need and they are providing the same excellent services that I received. Additionally all the therapists have been good with my brother who has autism and dementia. I highly recommend Mission Home Health Care if you ever need in home PT, OT, Speech, or home health aide for yourself or a loved one! I especially recommend Ryan in PT and suzy for OT, Warren for Speech is excellent as well.

Mission Home Care is wonderful and a great staff who really care about their patients. Crystal Rae was my first nurse & she is very nice & competent. I have had one or two Physical Therapy techs but Stephen Evans really stands out as being competent, caring and personable man who is always prompt & responsible. He is professional, caring & makes the therapy a priority & fun at the same time. His humility is also what makes this necessary torture more bearable & makes you want to do your best. Nurse Euordo (sp) is also kind, caring and professional. I had a left knee replacement & the pain is unbearable at times but the techs makes it worthwhile to keep forging on. Kudos to all the pleasant staff and their kindness and expertise.❤Also Ivor Quilab was very reponsible & caring when he released me from your home health care.❤
