Aveanna is a careless agency neglecting the fact that medication was under given over given and not given and nursing errors were made. They failed to keep my son properly staffed especially during time of sickness or returning home from a hospital stay. I told them not to send back the nurses that were making medical errors with my son's medication. I also mentioned that any LPN or RN be properly trained on individual needs of patients. Making sure that clinical competencies and skills were adequately addressed as well as training on how to operate all of machines correctly and clean them. They failed on multiple occasions to return phone calls about questions and concerns. This company is a NIGHTMARE. I have been trying to work with them since 2011. The office is not following protocols and nobody there has any idea how to run a company. As the mother of a patient I strongly believe this office needs to be shut down. I've been blatantly lied to many times over nursing schedules. They have sent unqualified untrained nurses to our home. Nurses that couldn't follow simple doctor's orders, nurses who actually caused physical harm to my son. However the nurses that are qualified and did have compassion for what they do as nurses. We're not paid correctly or respected. Please for the safety of your loved one and your sanity as a caregiver don't choose this agency.
