Dr. Santos and nurse Colleen are awesome, was taking my 3 year old child to urgent care and we were told there was an over two hour wait time. Chairs in waiting area were packed so we went to hang out in pediatrics to keep child busy. Dr. Santos walked in and asked if I wanted child seen there, they got us in and out in less than 30 minutes with cultures and medication. Thank you so much! This isn’t the only time we’ve had great service at FHP, but it was the most helpful as the whole family has been sick and sleepless the last three days!

It won’t matter that I wrote this review as they’re more or less the only show in town. I understand how triage works, but we sat there for 4 hours watching patients who came in after us come and go while I tried to occupy my feverish 3 year old. I’m not a doctor but none of them appeared to be in immediate duress. I inquired once and was told we were next, then went back 30 min later and two people were ahead of us. I begged them to please look at his ears as we have to board a 7 hour flight this week and was met with zero help, just advised to sit and wait and “hopefully” no one would be triaged ahead of us.

Just wanted to share that I had a great experience with PA Tuncup at TakeCare. She provided excellent service and really took the time to make sure I had a clear picture of my overall health. She was thorough but not excessive—just focused on what mattered. She explained my labs, checked in about my concerns, and followed up with the right steps to keep everything on track. They just want to bill your insurance and treat you like cattle. I was only there 6 months., I could never see my own doctor because they give whoever is on island. Terrible communication at the front desk and do not even direct you where to go on Reminders- if you get them. They had to reschedule my appointments. A lot of my military and private contractors warned me, but I didn’t listen because it looked “convenient”. Also there is no parking. There’s a line to check in, and then they charge you because you were in line for 10 minutes, for a no-show. Avoid FHP.
