They were one of the caregiver companies recommended through senior services of Dupage to us, so you would think they would have their shit together, right? Well Benchmark gives you a dog and pony show. Went through nearly a dozen caregivers. There is time theft, senior endangerment issues, they will send you the worst possible people and say it’s because it’s hard to find ANY caregivers. Well let me tell you. Document everything and tell the county of Dupage senior services to take them off the list. They would no call no show, leave in the middle a shift, would never replace ANYONE EVER IF THEY DID GIVE NOTICE THEY WEREN’T SHOWING UP FOR DAYS AND WEEKS AT A TIME AND CLAIM THEY WERE “LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO REPLACE OR SUBSTITUTE“ Never happened because it’s a load of BS! Because they are paid through the county they do the bare minimum. My understanding is if they were good employers, Benchmark could keep their staff. And then to make things worse they reported us to the county for the damages of an insufficient work ethic. We had a caregiver just leave in the middle of her shift. And they made excuses that fill a shipping containers ship. If you want keep your loved ones safe, Never use this company from hell. They will do irreparable harm to your loved ones. My mom fell so many times and and finally ended up in the hospital and is still to this day receiving home health care nurse, physical and occupational therapy. They are lucky we’re not suing them. The nerve of some people!! The one star is represents the physical, mental and emotional damage they caused to our family

Had a bad experience with Benchmark with their Senior living assistance, and I would advise people to stay away from them. The nurse assistant seemed under qualified and neglectful. The management was straight up rude, she would talk over me, try to argue with me, and was just as neglectful as the people they hire.

Their drivers need to put down their cell phones and pay attention. One of their nurses was weaving all over the road looking down at her phone
