Initial assessment was almost impossible to book but then, afterwards, there was NO FOLLOW-UP. I have the manual from the intake person but nothing else. 4 months later, after no action or response to our calls, we told the primary care doctor (who had made the referral to them) that we needed to find another home health company and went back to an agency we had had better luck with.

⭐ One star My experience with JourneyCare Hospice (405 Lake Zurich Rd, Barrington, IL 60010) was heartbreaking. The care my mother received in her final days was unacceptable. The night of Nov 4, 2025, I called multiple times about her worsening condition. The on-call nurse only told me to increase her morphine. The next morning (Nov 5), the day nurse arrived late, couldn’t operate the oxygen machines, and even placed a mask over my mother’s mouth with no oxygen running. She then left the house at the critical moment — while my mom was dying. They promised to keep her comfortable and help her transition peacefully. Instead, they caused her so much distress and misery. No family should have to experience this.

I have had an amazing experience with this company. My physical therapist name was Dan he was awesome. He had me advance so quickly and really paid attention to my needs. He addressed my fears and never let me limit myself because of my fears. I felt so confident during my recovery with him. I have never been so comfortable with someone in my life. Thanks a million Dan. I would recommend him to anyone.

RN Janelle is awesome! Gives 125% plus! Natalie is fabulous as well. The people I have met and dealt with from this company are on point and thorough- they also reply to texts! Have not met OT or PT yet but I can safely assume, they will have your needs in their best interest!

I I have used Apple for both of my total knee replacements both one ayear ago and one a week ago. Melissa as the physical therapist and Mary Beth the RN are two of the most outstanding people in their profession. In both cases I was walking without crutches the first knee after about nine days and the second after six, even though I usually use something to be careful. There is no question these are two of the most experienced people in the field- I am a physician and surgeon I do my research and I have been very fortunate to find the best!
