As a nurse with over 15 years experience, including years in home health care, I was so so so pleased with the care for our mother post back surgery by Amedisys. Excellent communication from all staff regarding scheduling, clear goals set, homework to do on days when clinicians would not be visiting. Nurse Brian was lovely, warm and knowledgeable. And my mom’s experience with PT Mari was invaluable! All other team members were great too. Do what you can to keep these precious professionals on your team for years to come!

Very good experience with Amedisys. They are very prompt in responding to your needs, questions, appointments, and follow-ups. They explain what and how they will be assisting you. The Nurses and techs are all professional, friendly, helpful and compassionate. They help find solutions to assist you with your everyday needs. You couldn't ask for a better service than Amedisys to come into your home after a hospital or rehab stay.

I had excellent care from all home healthcare professionals. Nurse Demi was so kind and compassionate and very knowledgeable. PT Kristine had me walking up and down stairs on first visit. She was very pleasant and took time to explain everything.

A dominant demeanor was taken towards me, more suitable for an animal than a human being, by two different persons, on two different occasions, from their exercise branch. That is not my idea of customer service, nor client contact, nor service rendering, nor professionalism, nor even rudimentary human respect. I ejected them from my home. I explained to each exactly why, but their being set in their views (entrenched and intransigent), made them incapable of comprehending what I was saying to them, or what they were doing wrong. It was like talking to statues. --Their people had a problem of human comprehension, of fathoming a matter, and not one of English language nor English speaking. One of two office supervisors calling me back later said, to the effect of, "We will still get paid."

These people are amazing!!!! 5 Stars are not nearly enough. Kim came when we started with this company after my 87 year old mother was released from rehab due to a broken hip. I have NEVER seen anyone more kind companionate and patient. Literally brought tears to my eyes. All of the team have made my Mom feel safe and cared for. Great job by all in a hard situation. As we all know our seniors do not like to lose independence. Great Job Amedisys Home Health Care team for making her feel respected and heard. Again Thank YOU!
