I reached out to Helping Hands Home Healthcare when my Aunt Lisa needed some extra support at home, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she received. From the very first call, their team was kind, professional, and really took the time to understand what she needed. The caregivers were amazing—so patient and compassionate. They helped her with everyday tasks like meal prep, medication reminders, and personal care, but more than that, they made her feel comfortable and cared for. It was such a relief knowing she was in good hands. What really stood out to me was how personalized everything was. They didn’t just offer a one-size-fits-all approach; they listened to what worked best for her and adjusted accordingly. It made a huge difference in her quality of life. I highly recommend Helping Hands Home Healthcare to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate care for a loved one. They truly go above and beyond!

Very rude and uncaring. I called the Peoria IL office to set up care for my Father. The rehab center he was at and Helping Hands were to coordinate what he needed from Helping Hands. The day I went to pick him up for discharge at the rehab center, home care had still not been established, because Helping Hands would not accept the paperwork the nursing home had sent. This back and forth had been going on for days. My Dad almost did not get discharged because I still did not have care set up at home. The rehab center called Cheryl from Helping Hands and found out exactly what paperwork they wanted that same day. He was discharged, and I was allowed to bring him home. On the way home, I called Cheryl, to apologize for the confusion and informed her Dad was with me. She told me she still didn't have the paperwork, and to "go home and relax, nothing is going to happen to your dad in the next day". She also told me "you don't need to call us, we will call you when we get the paperwork from the nursing home". My Dad was with me for 5 days, before he got re-admitted to the hospital. He was in the hospital for a 6 days, and has now been back home 3 days. Helping Hands has still never called me to set up service or to check to see what is going on. They obviously don't care if they set up new clients or not. If you value your loved one, find another Home Healthe care provider.
