My husband had very complex medical needs and for the most part they were met by our great nurses. Having said that, after 8 years with IPI, we almost never went a full month without some empty shifts. We had call-offs. There was no resource (correct word?)nurses who could fill in during emergencies. One nurse that we loved worked 37 straight hours because of call-offs!! How was that safe for anyone. I was terrified for her driving home. And yes, I did give her a couple hours to sleep but I wasn't a qualified caregiver. The refrain I kept hearing all the time was the low pay and lies told by schedulers, not by Marcheta. Respiratory and extra training at the office are mostly the only reasons we stuck with IPI until my husband's passing.

We have been using IPI for their RT and HME over the last 8 years for my son. Bobby, Nick and Paul do a great job making sure we have everything that my son requires for HME. We have great communication between Bobby, Nick and Paul.

I had a great experience with this company organizing an equipment setup. Even better was when Niko showed up on time. He was very thorough in making sure I knew how to use the device. Niko was professional. The Company was professional, and I strongly recommend them both

After using IPI for my dad for almost 4 years, he passed and I guess it’s time to write here. In the beginning, they will promise to fill the 24/7 care…yet for the first 72+ hours did not have a nurse on schedule. I think we maybe had one full week covered, two TOPS..in the entire 4 years. Marchetta is the only helpful/competent scheduler, everyone else should be fired. Expect TONS of call offs and you better check the schedule online often, because they don’t call to tell you half the time. Thank god we had a few caregivers(paid on side) to cover some of the opens ones..& if you do go that route..I wouldn’t tell them because they will just think all is well and no need to fill the shift with one of their actual nurses. The nurses on the other hand, some are better than others. If we did not have Dawn, I would’ve went through the process of switching from IPI a long time ago, but she was great with my dad and tried to cover as many shifts as she could. Once my dad went on hospice, IPI didn’t want to send supplies that he NEEDED & would rather go back and forth with hospice on who is responsible for providing it even when hospice couldn't get what he used. His last week alive, they couldn’t even get a single nurse on the schedule besides one for half the day, on the day we were taking him off the ventilator. I’m sure there’s more, but good luck & if I had to do it over, I would’ve looked into other companies. Edit to add; clearly make their employees leave positive reviews so it doesn’t show them as a 2⭐️ company.
