If there were zero stars I would give it. My Mom had a different care company when Care Diem approached a caregiver in the building to try to match the rate. In time, they agreed to match the rate of current caregiving company and include occasional 2nd asst guidance. The day they were supposed to start I was out of the country. We had already let prior cg go. They used that opportunity to tell me there were extra charges and sent me a multiple page contract I couldn't read on my phone and told me if I didn't sign it immediately the caregiver couldn't start. When the first caregiver started my Mom was in good health. I was getting constant messages on my phone that Mom couldn't reach the caregiver. She was constantly in the 2nd bedroom or on her phone. Within less than 4 days Mom was admitted to ICU with pneumonia and breathing issues. I flew home immediately. One of many things I found out was cg put drinking water in her oxygen. You must use distilled water. The humidifier crystalized and Mom wasn't getting proper oxygen, which created complications with her COPD, causing fatal issues. When Mom was ready to go home after a week in ICU from the above incident I demanded a different cg. Mom came home on a Thursday. The 'free' 2nd assist took hrs and Mom was in her room most of the time. By Friday night the new cg (whio was a cna) sent Mom to dinner with her Innogen machine not working. Her oxygen dropped to the 60's and she had a massive heart attack. When I got to her appt the next morning NO ONE told me about her fragility or lack of movement. I came there immediately, saw cg reading a book in the dining room and my Mom slumped over in a chair, lifeless. I tried using a heating pad yo get hear vitals.. she was ice cold. The cg was still sitting in the dining room while I tended to my Mom. I called 911 immediately While Mom was dying in ICU Care Diem took money from her bank account, even though no care was scheduled. They knew she was dying and removed over 5500 from her account, even though there was credit left from the first cg ACH removal of funds. I called that day to demand the funds back. They told me wait 30 days. 3 months later still no funds. I documented proof of logs from asst living and hospital and demanded funds or I would sue. They refused to pay, (various reasons) so I sued them in small claims court and won. Have to go back to court to get the funds because I still have no check. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Who removes thousands of dollars in funds when a patient is dying in ICU?

CareDiem Home Care has been amazing with my father’s care. They came highly recommended, and from the very first conversation, I could tell we were in good hands. The team was not only kind and professional but truly went out of their way to help us—especially with getting his VA benefits started. They followed up regularly and made sure things were moving in the right direction, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. What really stands out is how much they genuinely care about their clients. They’re not just providing a service—they’re advocating and showing up in every way that matters. And I have to give a special shoutout to Paul, our caregiver. He’s been incredible with my dad. He knows exactly how to move him safely and always treats him with such respect and dignity. We feel so lucky to have him. We’ve been so pleased with CareDiem and their whole team. I honestly can’t recommend them enough.

Genuineness—that is the word I choose to describe CareDiem Home Care. The word “genuine” is often used in reviews or to describe services that seem heartfelt, but in many cases, it's simply an expression of appreciation without firsthand understanding. My recommendation, however, is based on personal knowledge and experience. I know the founder of CareDiem personally. Her inspiration for starting this company came from a deeply personal experience: when her own mother became seriously ill, the home care services they received fell short of expectations. As a result, she and her siblings chose to care for their mother themselves—giving her the love, attention, and effort every elderly or seriously ill person truly deserves. That experience—and the love that fueled it—laid the foundation for what has become CareDiem Home Care. For this reason, I wholeheartedly recommend CareDiem to anyone in need of home care services. I can personally attest to the genuineness behind their mission, and the compassion with which they serve their clients.
