5 stars is not enough for this organization. From the gentlemen who delivered the equipment to our house to the nurses, coordinators and cnas. Everyone was awesome, caring and compassionate. They helped my mom through a very tough time and I couldn’t have imagined a better team of people for her.

I would not recommend this " hospice care " to anyone. I still cry everyday that my Mom had such horrible care during the last few months of her life. The nurses only showed up twice a week for 30 minutes. When my mother had diarrhea in bed for 2 weeks straight, I asked for help to clean her, cause my back hurt and I couldn't lift her anymore, I was told that I had to pay out of my pocket to get help! I didn't have money cause I was missing work to take care of Mom. And my Mother wanted to get out of bed, and they also would not help her do that. I couldn't do it by myself, she was afraid I would drop her. Yet, they advertise that they would help anyone, even those who have no income. So heartbreaking.

If I could give them zero stars, I would-the WORST service by any hospice nurse-particularly Sandra-while I was grieving over my father's decline-she refused to answer my questions unless my sister, who is POA, acknowledged I had questions. We fought the whole time-instead of focusing on my father's care- My dad aspirated a week before he contracted pneumonia, and no one notified me-so I only got to see my wonderful father 10 hours before he passed instead of perhaps a full week and the guilt I feel not seeing him sooner will carry with me forever. The cost of Elara per month when my dad was at a nursing home? 5,800 a MONTH for a once a week visit from the nurse-oh plus, a few other visits so they can jack up the bill-they billed Medicare who paid dollar for dollar-it's a game they know how to play-disgusting greedy corporate investors who don't care at all about anything but corporate profit. ALSO, Elara is registered as a non for profit-they have filed tax returns after 2019, so it should be interesting to see those numbers. Do not support horrible, uncaring service and corporate greed.

Do not use this company for home care! This place is so unprofessional it’s pathetic. Nothing but issues: no show no calls, showing up half hour to an hour late, leaving 1hr, 45, 30 minutes early. When these care takers are here they do as little as possible, the are on their cell phones and then use your electricity to charge their phones. Then you call and deal with the supervisors they have no clue what’s going on and are unprofessional as well. I can’t wait to get rid of this pathetic company. Nothing but issues with this company!!

Front Personnel Were Wonderful, However Therapist Assessment, Scheduling Concensus, Deliverables Changed SOLELY BY THEM, Rather in coordination with Clients Time and Deliverables. Pushing the Client Around Last Minute or Other Than Consensus Interchange IS NOT FOR ME! Showed Them The Door!
