We have had VNA for my Mother and now for my Father and we could not be happier with the service and the staff
Pamela
Had PT & ST (speech) for my mother. Last month had visit with Krista PT as well as mobility service (Numotion, which are wonderful) in regards to getting proper evaluation for my mom's new PWC. This meeting took place on 12/8/21 for eval and to date Krista (PT) has not completed for PWC company. I've spoken with a manager (Marci), more than once, she indicated Krista would be contacting me (it's been 3 days no contact). It's now the 22nd of Jan. My mother has a wheelchair that is now over 6 yrs old, not holding charge, not enough power to get over thresholds to get out of house, what if there's a fire, she's stuck. Mom does have a lot of health issues so I do worry all the time. She can't stand up for herself as she once did. She's an amputee above knee, (no prosthetic), left shoulder blown out needs replaced but now to high of risk so that leaves her unable to use her upper extremities to get out of situations, has pacemaker, hip & right shoulder replaced on top of that vascular disease causing weakness plus Lupus that effects her joints causing even more difficulty to allow manuvering, pulling herself up, getting in/out of bed or using bathroom. The need for a new power WC is extremely important in order for her to have some freedom & maybe quality of life for getting around, let's not forget DIGNITY. Right seat to avoid compression wounds, allow for better transfers, etc . I've called every day since Jan 17th with no response, VNA does not care about health care. I'm sure insurance was charged for her Dec 8th assessment visit for services yet not rendered. I took off work to be there for appt, how's that right? We trust these health services for our loved ones & this is what you get, lip service, passing the buck or at least from this particular one. I'm ready to file complaint with Family Services for Aging & Disability. Imagine what the care would be if at one of their care facilities. Better yet, don't imagine because I can see neglect of their patients. Even though VNA should know who this review is from they'll try to play it off. We're using VNA services through Indiana. I just want my mom to be treated as a person with respect. Her WC is like your/our car, let me flatten your tires, disconnect your battery, strap down one arm and tie back a leg, have you sit on concrete all day and see how your day goes. Sincerely Frustrated Beyond Words only left with Rant. Pamela

I came home from having a rough surgery choosing to go with Visiting Nurses Association. I am not sure if I can say any of the nurses names on here, but I can say HE was caring from the start. This man came in and focused on his work and so he took all my vitals, went over a few things about me and my health. Great listener he is!! Well alls I can say is this 👨 man was the best. So far so good 👀 👅
