We did not know when the Dr. recomended home health nurse what it would entail. The first time no matter how late at night you have to let them take 3 hrs to get started. Tell them your plan for a fire, tornado, flood, how many smoke alarms you have, how many people live in the house"for their safety ", no matter how much they have to do they will stretch it to 2x per week , they dont just stick to what they were sent for. I think you get the point, if you are not incompetent they treat you as you are. They don't just ask if you have a plan for each emergency, you have to explain each step of your plan, tornado, fire, etc no matter how late at night they come. As far as how many live in the house you have to give them names so they are safe. The nurse we got was very rude. They don't except if you tell them you have a plan in place for emergencies.

My mother in law was supposed to receive help with showering once a week. So my husband tells the aid that she has to go to doctor appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays. The aid calls on Tuesday and says when can she comes out, after she knows she can't do that. So the aid tells my husband oh well I will see you next week. So my mother in law hasn't had anyone to help her weekly. One time in three weeks has someone come to help her. My husband is doing everything he can to take care of her but it is very difficult, that is why Care Tenders is supposed to come by. I hope they didn't bill her insurance ,if I find out they did I will be filling a fraud case with the attorney General and BBB.
