I have had a couple of routine procedures here and am very pleased. Today I had my first colonoscopy and was little nervous, I was quickly put at ease by the entire staff. Very professional and personable. The procedure went smooth and I genuinely felt well cared for. I was inclined to write a review after I received a personal call about my well being this evening from the doctor himself! I would like to say thank you to Dr. Ravish Mahajan and the staff at Deconess Gibson Hospital.

I had an EGD and the whole staff at Deaconess Gibson Hospital were wonderful! Dr. Mahajan did a great job explaining the procedure to me prior to surgery, and all the Outpatient Surgery staff were amazing!! They called me the day after to check in on me, which I appreciated as well!

I had a recent EGD and the whole staff at Deaconess Gibson Hospital were great! Dr. Mahajan really did a great job explaining the procedure to me prior to surgery, and I felt fine afterwards, and my symptoms have really improved. He also called the day after the procedure to check up on me, which me and my wife really appreciated. Many thanks gang!

All of the staff and surgical team were very professional, courteous, and accommodating. Doctor Mahajan took plenty of time to explain the procedure and made sure I didn’t have any unanswered questions. I was treated with exceptional care and concern for my comfort and condition. Afterwards, the results were explained in detail. I was even called the next day to check on my condition and make sure I didn’t have any issues or other questions. Very satisfied with all aspects of my visit and procedure.

I had brought my fiance to the ER after a couple days of vomiting and all the works associated with a G.I. bug. Explained to the ER that we would need to apply for financial assistance as my fiances job does not offer medical insurance at all. At first he was given some fluids and had lab work done. Out of nowhere we were lightly briefed about possible high liver enzymes and was told he would need more lab work, a CT, and an ultrasound. The male nurse Dustin we had was amazing and gave us more information than the overall doctor Beierle who in both of our opinions was highly dissmisive and rude. I understand that there are other patients on the floor and ER is very busy. However no one asked us if running all these tests were ok they were just shoved on us. When we shared our fears about a high medical bill we were told by a female nurse that everything that was done had already been billed so might as well continue treatment since we had been here a couple hours. Not to mention the weird shift in attitude when we refused the ultrasound and asked to be discharged. In conclusion, I've seen other reviews with the same feelings of being ignored, dismissed and rude interactions which is unfortunate. I just hope we don't receive a few thousand dollar bill. Just watch coming to this ER and know your patient rights.
