I was very disappointed with my experience with this nurse practitioner in the ER. I left feeling embarrassed, rushed, and that my concerns were not fully listened to or taken seriously. When I tried to explain what had happened, I felt interrupted and met with assumptions rather than genuine attention. I was questioned about how I fell and was told I was “dry as a bone,” despite explaining that I slipped on black ice—not snow or water. This comment felt dismissive and inappropriate given the circumstances. Overall, I felt judged based on my appearance rather than treated as a patient seeking care. The interaction lacked professionalism, empathy, and thorough communication. I expect better respect and attentiveness from a healthcare provider, especially in an emergency setting

Beware of this establishment. They may be able to provide a health service but they will double bill you for the services. My son went to urgent care in March at Winn Med in Decorah, Iowa. After getting the bill from this establishment, we discovered our insurance would not cover all it because of the way they billed and coded it. We talked to Winn Med and they said everything was right. We talked to our insurance and they said, No the coding is wrong. After my wife made many phone calls with Winn Med, they kept saying they would look into it and get back to her. No phone calls were returned. They kept sending bills saying not to worry about it until we resolve this issue. Now we get a bill saying it will go to collections if we do not pay it. Still waiting for that return phone call. By the way, they delayed the process so long that we can no longer appeal through our insurance company. If you can, drive to another center as this one will take advantage of people looking for healthcare.

Went to clinic with rash/infection/swelling on both legs probably from cleaning up flooded basement on Monday like an imposition to come in without an appointment. Not like having to explain myself to volunteer @ door A1 nurse @ clinic not much better like go away try URGENT CARE later Aa an aside totally unable to get to my chart online or get helpful email!!

Would not return! Hospital uses wrong codes and billed for dental insurance and will not honor their mistake and leaves customers with large bills. I filed a grievance letter to the hospital and they did nothing other than say go through your insurance. Would never return to this establishment again. Seeing other reviews I think the general public agree.

With my multiple experiences with this ER I am grossly disappointed. They sit around together in a big group laughing and giggling like a bunch of gitty twelve year olds while people need medical care. Complete rookies at IVs, blow out my veins leaving bruises. Prescribe emergency medication but have it filled at the wrong location. This is the over night staff but the physician was very good to me. If you feel like your interrupting their overnight giggle fest didn't worries it's not just you...
