VERY MISLEADING. Both me and my young daughter are going through extensive therapy over how this place cared for my mother. On the phone they were very informative. Made this place sound like a miracle for the situation I was in with my mother (she had recently gotten a diagnoses of an inoperable mass and needed more care than her current housing could provide. She was not dying or extremely sick at the time of admission). When we got there, they greeted us very nicely and had two very caring nursing staff members get my mom situated in her room and gave me information. After that time, those two smiling, positive, caring nurses were never back. I was there every second of every day from admission to when she passed. The nurses who did show up over the course of the 3 days she was there, only cared about shoving morphine and Ativan down my mothers throat. Every 1 to 2 hours they were feeding it to her, even while she was asleep (when she was asleep they asked for my help to hold her mouth shut so the medicine would dissolve in her cheek. this alone absolutely traumatized me and was very unprofessional to ask of me) when I asked them to lower the dose so she could be awake to be able to talk with me and her family they argued with me saying it was more important for her to be asleep and comfortable than awake and anxious. They kept her asleep the entire last 3 days of her life with no time to be awake or aware. I felt like her last days were stolen from her, myself and her loved ones who came to say goodbye. A few hours before my mother went to this place, she was awake and aware and was able to talk and even joke around. Ever since the day she got there she was in a medicated coma until she passed. She didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to anyone. No one got the chance to say goodbye to her. She went from herself, to a shell of who she was, to dead, in 3 days at this place. I guess that’s what happens when you’re fed morphine and Ativan every hour around the clock. I live every day with the immense guilt of having to make the decision to send my mother here. I am traumatized beyond help. This place is a gorgeous establishment with some very kind souls working there. But I wouldn’t wish what happened to my mom while she was there on anyone.

The staff's level of caring and endless reserve of energy made a life-changing difference to our family. Never have I witnessed health care staff so dedicated and focused on patient care. Their kindness and competence will never be forgotten.

While traveling, our mother started to fail in her battle with liver cancer. We went from the local hospital to this facility and were only there a short time. The people and facility were absolutely lovely. Greeted with a smell of freshly baked cookies made by their volunteers, we loved walking the grounds and coming back to Mom's room that felt a bit like home. It made a difficult time so much easier. Time seemed to slow down as we just enjoyed those last moments with Mom.

No words can even begin to describe how wonderful this place is. Mom was treated like a Princess during her final weeks. The staff was wonderful, the personal care and attention was amazing, and the sadness expressed to my family after my beloved mom's passing was truly appreciated. I can't say enough great things about this hidden gem. Thank you for taking such great care of the most important woman in my life.

If there were 100 stars, I would give this crew all of them!! I can't put into words the incredible gratitude and relief I found when I brought my mother here. This house truly makes an effort to feel like home. It is not a sterile, cold, white-walled environment. They pay attention to details. Even simple things like a knitted afghan or handmade quilt in every room hasn't gone unnoticed. My biggest regret is not taking the step sooner. The nurses are out of this world incredible. My mom has been in a half dozen hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living in the past year, so I speak from experience. Even the best of those places didn't even begin to provide the level of care these people have given my mom. She is finally getting the services she deserves. My whole family thanks you.
