Ghost Rises
I have to be honest—your commercial is extremely tone-deaf. Comparing hospice care to football and a 'winning team' is not only confusing but disrespectful to the reality of what patients and families are going through. Hospice is about compassion, support, and dignity—not games or competition. I strongly urge you to reconsider this ad and focus on the empathy and care that truly matters in this difficult time.

People are awesome with patients and are truly caring. Having a nurse and bath aide really relieves some of the stress of caring for aging parents.

I cannot think Nikayla enough. My father passed quickly. Although he had limited time with her, she made sure that he was comfortable and that all of our questions were answered. Nikayla’s professionalism and her caring spirit was very comforting during this difficult time. Nikayla, I appreciate you and thank you, for what you do!!

Phoenix employees were super kind, caring and compassionate to my 80-year-old parents. My Dad has some memory issues and needed extra assistance with things at home after being in the hospital, and the care from Phoenix Home Care and Hospice really helped a lot. My mom said everyone with Phoenix was so friendly and respectful when they came to her home. She highly recommends their service! I am so grateful they were there for my parents!

Our family had an amazing experience with Phoenix. From the first day my father chose to go on hospice at the hospital to the final day he was with us on Earth. Michelle, our intake nurse was fantastic. She met us at our home, in less than an hour after hospital dismissal. She explained scenarios and expectations and answered our questions. Another Michelle (USMC) was assigned to my dad's care. She hit it off exceedingly well with my dad and they continued that beautiful relationship right up to his passing. Maria was out nurse aide and she was also amazing. She sang ,prayed, read scripture, and encouraged my dad through the difficulty of cancer and the stages of dying. She was a true angel to him and to us as a family. At one point out nurse had to be away for several weeks and we were assigned additional folks. Donny was one of these who came in and made immediate connection with Dad. We are grateful for Donny's service and care for my dad. Allie also was assigned to dad in Michelle's absence, and she was very helpful in getting things we needed to give Dad the comfort he needed. Then, to add to their exceptional care, as dad was in his final stages, we had a weekend on call nurse come by our home each day to check on dad, to help us in the process, and to answer questions and give us realistic expectations. Finally, the morning of my dad's passing, the nurse aide Maria came by just to pay respects, sit with us, give love and condolences to the family, and just be present. I don't know how hospice is supposed to be run, but this team that we had did an amazing job for my dad, and for us as a family. If this is hospice, then I'm all for it and am so appreciative to Michelle, Maria, Donny, and Allie for the compassion they showed, the love and care that poured out, and their genuine desire to connect with my dad and with us. They represent Phoenix well, and exemplify what I think hospice is supposed to do. Thank you to our Phoenix team. We tell everyone we know about our awesome experience with you guys. Keep up the great work.
