Very very poor care. Was sent twice by my family Dr to be admitted. They denied it. They charge you for things not done, along with being one of the rudest hospitals I have ever been to. I will be going elsewhere. Dr Lemon is a joke. Dr Mussetter a joke as well. Would not take anyone there. You wait for hours. They have you go back and forth for different things. Keep you in the waiting room until they feel like it. Literally seen 4 nurses standing around laughing and talking instead of taking care of the people. Doesn’t even deserve one star.

I was waiting for a survey, they usually send one but they didn't so I'll post here. The nurses were nice enough but Carson, I don't remember his last name, was a nice one with a great personality and stood out from all the rest of them. Can't say enough good things about him really. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

Christie barker was awesome! She took my blood and I didn’t even feel it. It makes a difference where you go when someone knows how to do their job. I appreciate her she deserves a raise!

Some photos from the room and the view. The staff have been great post op, the patient advocate came around, the doctor and others to check on us before 10am. They have been in to change batteries and clean the room too. As you can see there are lots of posters around the room as reminders. The shower is very nice, wide and big enough if you are a large person, and they have a chair if you need it. Lots of room and very attentive staff. I would highly recommend. I have been in lots of hospitals in KY, OH and WVA. This hospital rates in the top three!

This Medical Facility stays clean and orderly. They maintain the facilities both inside and out. Parking can sometimes be a problem, although the parking lots have been constantly resurfaced. The valet parking area, however, poses a huge challenge. The circular “pull in” becomes congested early and only worsens throughout the day. If possible, park in one of the many outer perimeter parking lots and enjoy the walk to the hospital. The valet parking system at KDMC definitely needs a “rethink.” Great rooms, nice people and good care.
