I recently gave birth at this facility, and unfortunately my experience with the nursing staff was upsetting and unacceptable. What should have been one of the most important and vulnerable moments of my life was overshadowed by nurses who demonstrated some of the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered. From the beginning, I was spoken to in a condescending and judgmental way. Rather than offering guidance or support as a new mother, I was repeatedly questioned about whether I even knew how to take care of my own child. These comments were not constructive or educational. they felt accusatory and humiliating, especially during such an emotionally and physically exhausting time. The most distressing part of my experience was when my baby was taken to the nursery without clear communication or consent, and I was not allowed to have my child returned to me. I had to beg to get my own baby back. No new mother should ever have to plead to be reunited with her child, especially when there was no clear explanation or compassionate reasoning provided. This caused me extreme emotional distress during a time that should have been centered on bonding and recovery. Overall, the nurses I encountered were rude, dismissive, and lacked basic empathy. Instead of making me feel safe, supported, and confident as a new parent, their actions made me feel judged, powerless, and deeply uncomfortable. Bedside manner is not optional in healthcare. It should be essential. I sincerely hope this facility addresses these issues so future mothers are treated with the dignity, respect, and compassion they deserve. Honestly it wouldn’t be a bad idea for them to shut down.

My mother was released from a week hospital stay only 11 days ago. She seemed fine until late last night. Hospital stay was diagnosed with PE left lung, sepsis, pneumonia, partial collapsed lung and also had to undergo go emergency surgery due to Gallbladder Pancreatitis. I brought her to T.J. due to a cough that just started that is persistent with back pain, how oxygen level, elevated temperature. We arrived here at 2:15p and it is 5:51p and we are STILL in this waiting room. Waiting room only had 2 people when we arrived, it has since become jammed packed.

Just turned down a patient because they weigh too much? Really .. after reading tour reviews maybe that's a good thing to be refused service. My Grandfather told to remember.. plumber lawyer, or Dr. Someone is ALWAYS last in the class. Is Glasgow where the bottom of the class is employed?

I would give zero stars if I could. A DNR order was placed on my mother, Dorothy Lile, without my consent, even though I was her legal decision-maker. Families, please stay involved and make sure you are informed — this hospital did not communicate or respect our rights.

Gave birth to my stillborn daughter spontaneous at home was rushed to this hospital because it the one associated with my obgyn. The nurse on entering the hospital couldn't read the room and said great night isn't it thank God for the ambulance guy for telling her off same nurse didn't even know where labor and delivery floor was. Finally on the right floor they blew both arms try to get an IV in I was poked 15 times I had a massive welt on my arms for two weeks. I was informed by a nurse that my daughter had a strong smell and that I needed to hurry up and figure out what we want to do with my daughter because of the smell. The doctor on call that night said she would inform my obgyn on what had happened and I hear from him the next morning. Yeah she lied my obgyn had no clue when I called his office that I had lost my baby. To top it off they filled the paper work wrong so a few weeks later I got a letter in the mail telling me by the government I needed to get my daughter hearing screening done.. when call the state office they was more sorry for the miss up than the hospital was. The lack of sympathy from this hospital during the hardest time of my life was unbelievable my daughter was seen as something that need to be hurry up and sent to the funeral home. Even the funeral home apologized on how rushed my child was push out of the hospital. The whole hospital needs major sensitivity training. As for the nurse who told me my daughter smelled needs fired.....
