I have an 86 year old bedridden mother who have home health services provided by Elara home health care in Metairie Louisiana. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!!!!. The nurses they have for drawing blood do not know what they’re doing, they make several attempts to draw blood and sometimes cannot get it at all So they send a second nurse to come but they all don’t know what they’re doing. They’re also very slow with getting test results sent over to the doctor every test my mom have had I had to keep calling them to send results to the doctor because doctor never get it in a timely matter. They inserted a catheter 2 times incorrectly and ultimately my mother had to be rushed to the emergency room because Elara discharged her without correcting the problem caused by them. She also caught a urine infection from this. If u don’t want your loved one to experience a serious medical issue or receive poor quality services don’t use Elara. U will regret it . The only reason they have one star is because I can’t post it with zero stars. They are definitely a ZERO!!!!!!!
