We have just begun working with them but they have been wonderful. The person who answers the phone can be very abrupt but once you get past her, everyone is lovely. We needed to arrange in-home PT and OT for my mother and Angie really went above and beyond to help us get the paperwork in order. My mother loves her physical therapist Dr Mohamed, who is so kind, knowledgeable, respectful, and encouraging, and we also really like the Kerri Kirby-- she knows her stuff! It's only been a week, but we see big changes in my mother already!

The PT I had was good, but their billing and authorizations dept is lacking. They do not respond to emails or voicemails and their phone is almost always set to voicemail so you don’t have the ability to speak with someone if there is an urgent need. My son has been without therapy for a week now and he needs it for the recovery from his surgery. I have even offered to pay out of pocket for services if insurance delayed authorization to ensure continuous care so I honestly don’t understand what they are doing. The last bill they sent to insurance they listed me as the patient (my son was the patient) and it was of course denied because the demographics were wrong. However, they have never bothered to resubmit or even send something to me to fix it as the insurance agency said they can process it right away if I get corrected paperwork. I guess I need to find another provider, but it would have been nice to have a better transition than this to do so.

The absolute worst! After numerous faxes and phone calls from the doctor to set up home health care for my mother who has early dementia. The staff was rude, dismissive and denied ever receiving a fax or phone call At one point even telling the family member "that is not my problem". We asked to speak to coordinator who was defensive when questioned about why the office couldn't be reached for one week. We explained that the doctor was referring my mother for home health and physical therapy and she would need help with day to day personal care like supervising her medication , taking her vitals, dressing ,etc. Without any evaluation of my mother she responded by saying. "WE ARE NOT BABYSITTERS" and maybe she should not be living alone. I was flabbergasted! I informed her that she was denying services. Her response was " im not denying services if they havent been started ". Needless to say, i would never trust them with the care of my loved one. Run away from this company. Your loved one deserves care and compassion. Never an apology for her rude staff or follow up to the physicians office. .

I received excellent and thoughtful therapy from 3 providers. They were experienced, careful, punctual, and answered my questions. I am grateful to Anne-Marie Fiala PT, Kerr Kirby OT, Jenny Broadwell N for their help and attention in my recovery.

Potomac Home Health Care has terrific staff. Anne Marie Fiola has worked with me and my family several times. She is an OUTSTANDING and skilled therapist -- supportive, excellent, experienced, compassionate and attentive. I scheduled my latest knee replacement surgery based on her availability to help me strengthen and heal. Five stars are simply not enough!!!
