I have been a client of Minerva Home Healthcare for one year. I am pleased with the professionalism and knowledge of the nurse/s who have provided services to me.

All the reviews I see are from employees, not clients. My experience as a customer was altogether different and not good at all. Minerva was the nursing agency first sent to begin my home steroid infusions. Nurse “T,” the first one sent to try to start an IV was in such a hurry that she didn’t prep her supplies sufficiently that when the first site didn’t work she had no gauze or bandaids ready so I, me, THE PATIENT, grabbed her used alcohol pad to stop the bleeding and when she tried a second site—she did the exact same thing! Had she been able to start the IV she would have been expected to stay the entire 1 hour infusion and at least 30 minutes later to observe for any anaphylactic reactions, during which time she was supposed to review all written materials and instructions. This was occurring on a Saturday and considering her rush to place the IV I highly doubt she would have done all of that, maybe even done any of that once the infusion was started. So on Monday Dr “G” herself came out and I asked her to bring the vein finder device. First, she said she would be to my home in 15 minutes and instead didn’t arrive for an hour. She made 3 attempts to start an IV, using the vein finder, and couldn’t start one either. I know I have poor venous access and wasn’t too surprised and since I told her how dissatisfied I was with nurse T at least she took her time and prepared the supplies properly. It was her suggestion that I contact my physician for an order to place a “Midline” IV. I called Minerva’s office a couple days later to speak with her about the midline placement and ask a few questions about the procedure. She was busy and she said and said she’d call me back and, not to my surprise, she never did. After such a bad experience with Minerva I asked the pharmacy company supply to send a nurse from a different agency after the midline was placed. They sent one of their own nurses and I couldn’t have been happier. If you have any choice in the nursing agency you need to use, DO NOT USE MINERVA!!
