I had a terrible experience over the phone today while trying to schedule home care services. The woman I spoke with was extremely rude and demeaning. I was shocked at her lack of professionalism—especially in a field where compassion and patience should be the standard. It is very concerning to think that someone with such an attitude is representing a nursing home, where people deserve empathy and respectful communication. Based on this interaction, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars I would...I spoke to a scheduler today who was SO rude that I couldn't be bothered to continue doing business with this company. Its very concerning that they let people like this work in a nursing home. Disgusting!

The kindest, education and care for my Mom and me as her caregiver for the last week of her life was extraordinary! Each person brought their unique talents, gentleness and clarity. I am so grateful to everyone who served on my Mom's team. I will never forget your care. A true gift. And as a friend said recently about her dad on hospice - "They walked in, and they saved us." I agree.

If I could give this company a zero rating I would. My 85 year old disabled mom had this company come out after her last hospital visit. The first day they called, a Monday, my mom was in bed. She didn’t want anyone coming in. They told her beet they were coming anyway and were rude. I called them pretty upset and was told they would tell on her because the dr wanted her to be seen!!? Th y changed the day, and sent out Emily. She was nice and very helpful, but didn’t show up and didn’t bother to send coverage on the days they had scheduled her for. These were days they were to go over new meds and show me. I was there at each appointment as I am her PCA. Others were sent in Emily’s replacement as she was on vacation for her birthday and then the other was a “mistake”. The replacements came in the evening when she was on her way to bed. I had to call the office and complain and Becky and Melissa didn’t care. Becky raised her voice at me. Imagine if that was my mom! I received a call 2 days before her last SCHEDULED VISIT from Emily saying she had some extra time in her schedule and wanted to come to discharge my mom. We were to go over the meds, make sure that we received everything and so her vitals. I was not at home and I explained that to Emily. She said that was ok. I said no. My mom had not been well and had no sleep the night before. Emily said she would just do the vitals. She wanted me to go over the new meds on the phone! I said I was in a meeting and that we would need to keep the appointment for Wed. I then said good bye and hung up. The company did the discharge over the phone with my brother. He called me shortly after. I called the office and had an argument with Becky Brown. She raised her voice and I asked to speak with the highest level of management. She said they would call m back by 5. At 5:30 the Duxbury police of 4 cruisers pulled in my driveway and interrogated me. My mom was in bed and I had to go get her. They wanted to make sure she was ok. The company was mad that I refused them entry into my home! So they sent the police. They said I was manipulative of my mom and controlling. My mom ended up being upset that entire night and I had a major panic attack. They didn’t care. I emailed one of the management staff and tried to reach out. They have blocked us… PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS ORGANIZATION! If you notice that hey don’t bother with apologizing for your he negative reviews… and they ALSO don’t do background checks on employees.

NVNA hospice is absolutely amazing!! I told each and every one of them that came to our house to help my dad before he passed. Every single nurse, aide and even the vendor that delivers equipment they are all gifts from god!! My dad was comfortable every step of the way and was able to let go with dignity!!! You guys are truly amazing!!!!!
