Went in for some hand issues after trouble with a table saw. They were very friendly helpful professional everyone was obviously concerned and knew what they were doing. They patched me up enough to get to Petoskey for a hand surgeon. Very helpful would definitely go again. Thanks to all the staff there.

the people working here are unkind to the general public & would rather waste their energy treating you unbecomingly than actually provide you with any directory. i dread having to schedule an appointment because of the interactions i have with the operators over the phone & the employees at the desk. cheboygan mclaren is probably the most unprofessional hospital in the upper northern region simply because of their directory staff. however, doctor duncan & his surgical team at mclaren in petoskey should most definitely be recognized for their esteemed work & supportive attitude towards their patients. they are wonderful people who treat you like an actual human being.

Just an fyi don’t got to Cheboygan hospital there a joke and won’t take you serious at all and will do the bare minimum and get you back out the door. Went in for sore throat body aches and chills and they didn’t even give me a strep or flu test looked at my throat and pretty much said oh I can see it’s a virus and had me back out the door in the matter of 5 minutes. If I could give them 0 stars I would UPDATE this came out of my nose/ throat this morning will be going to a different hospital today and cheboygan said it was a virus smh

Came to the ER because I could not breathe and my chest hurt. Did a chest x-ray, seen the enlarged heart but said I had COPD. I have cardiomyopathy that they completely missed. Now I can't walk in there because it caused PTSD. This is not the first time that I was dismissed from them as not important.

My trip here was a JOKE. I was having 10/10 pain and had to sit in waiting room for almost 3 hours just to go into a room for 2 more hours for them so say here’s Tylenol and Motrin good luck. No one gave me a way to contacts nurse in a event of emergency or even to just get help moving or getting to a bathroom. I ask for any meds orally for the fact of if I get shots I throw up or pass out out of fear and anxiety. Nurse gave me the Tylenol and Motrin, then doc comes in and makes a mock out of me having to take them orally. Not a single nurse coming to check on me. Not any help with getting me up or laying down ( I was literally screaming from pain) NOTHING. Not any help getting to the bathroom. Not any help getting to a vehicle. Not even an offer of help or assistance. The 5 hours of 10/10 pain in that hospital was a joke. They sent me home with my pain still being 10/10
