I just want to say that this company was wonderful to work with. We had originally went with another company for my father-in-law and they were horrible. They either would not show up, would show up late, or just be very mean and hurtful with him. At one point we refused to let one of the people in the house due to how they treated him. So we switched to Heartland and let me tell you it was night and day difference. We immediately (within 24 hrs) had them at the house, and had constant care and contact from everyone in the company. They treated him so well (and the family also), with so much respect and love. They even stayed with the family the day he passed until all of our needs were met, and hugged everyone as they went out the door. We were able to call the 24 hour line at any time, and our nurse was even available after hours if we had questions or needed anything. Even the man (I believe his name was Oscar) that delivered the bed just put the whole family at ease, he was the most kind man and we were so grateful for him and the rest of this team. This company will definitely be our first call if we ever need any hospice care in the future!

Hartland Hospice is providing us with top notch compassionate and supportive care during this difficult time. The team has been incredibly attentive and timely with all of our needs, even around a holiday! It's such a relief to have someone help us navigate this challenging time period and their help allows us to focus on what is important, creating precious memories with our loved one.

I know that many folks, including me, are missing their loved ones who have passed on to celebrate the holidays in heaven. My gratitude and feelings are of being blessed by the Heartland Hospice organization during the passing of my brother in law 2022, my father 2023 and my mother in law 2024. All aspects of staff from aides, nursing; social workers, furniture movers, and Chaplin Dave were wonderful. The emotional support given so generously by the hospice staff helped me and my family so much. Heartland Hospice helped me through the process of what to expect, being present when needed and always answering the phone. I can't recommend this organization enough. Anyone going through the death and dying process needs support and help. As soon as you know your loved one is going through the process, please reach out to Heartland Hospice. They will direct you in the best way to work through this devastating event in your life. Death is always thought of as terrible, however I found it to be a beautiful passage to heaven due to faith, prayers and support from hospice.

My Sweetheart had dementia. The Heartland Hospice Team joined our journey November 2023 until June 2024. Words do not express the care, compassion & support that was provided to Keith & myself as his primary caregiver. Nurses, Physician Assistant, Home Health Aid, Social Worker and Chaplain all helped us navigate the uncertain & emotional path we traveled. They helped with supplies, equipment, medicine, medical needs & emotional support. Hospice is not for just "end of life"; they are truly there for the journey and became a very important part of our family! So very thankful for Heartland Hospice, what a blessing they have been to us!
