Preferred Care at Home provided great care for Mom. The care givers made sure Mom took her medications, got her shower, did the laundry, made meals, and did light house cleaning. When Mom's health declined the care givers stepped up to the plate and provide compassionate care for Mom. The care giver coordinator would make surprise visits at Mom's house to check on the care that Mom was getting. For our family this was a much better alternative than putting Mom in a nursing home.

My father-in-law had a stroke and was in hospital. The hospital informed us he needed 24 hour care and was being released from the hospital. I contacted Ann at Preferred Care at Home and they came to the hospital the same day. They did assessment on my father-in-law and had care set up within 24 of me calling them. Anytime I needed to speak with the office staff they were absolutely professional and available. I would like to thank everyone involved in his care and especially Ann for being so patient and compassionate with my father-in-law. Most compassionate and involved group of people that I have been able to get to know. They have become a extension to my family.
